Clinical Research Programme (CRP), BJMC- one of its kind academic initiatives
The Clinical Research Programme (CRP) is a unique initiative of B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, aimed at fostering a culture of research among undergraduate (UG) students. The highlights of this initiative are multi-level students and faculties participations in each project, spaced out didactic sessions followed by hands on research and thorough involvement of student leaders and faculty leaders in organization.
Each research team comprises UG students, guided and mentored by PG residents and faculty consultants, ensuring scientific rigor and academic support throughout the process.
The programme encourages innovation, analytical thinking, and early exposure to clinical research methodologies.
Outstanding research projects are recognized and awarded annually, motivating students to pursue further academic and research excellence.
B.J. Medical College is the first and only Medical College in the region to have launched such a structured UG-level research programme, which has been conducted successfully for the past three consecutive years.
This Programme stood first in the state level GRIP summit and is to be replicated in all Government Medical Colleges of the state.
