UG Bond Details
Government MBBS students in Gujarat must sign a bond and undertaking to complete the course and serve 1 year in rural service.
A total penalty of Rs 20 lakhs applies for breach: Rs 5 lakhs via Solvency Certificate/Bank Guarantee and Rs 15 lakhs via Undertaking.

PG Bond Details
Students admitted to PG (MD/MS) courses (both from all india quota and state quota) in Government Medical Colleges, Gujarat, hereby undertake to serve one year in rural areas if required.
Each student must provide a Rs 40 lakh bond: Rs 10 lakh through a Solvency Certificate/Bank Guarantee and Rs 30 lakh through an Undertaking within 3 months of admission failing which they will be considered absent from their duty.

DM/MCH candidates in Gujarat must complete the course and serve one year in a government hospital post-completion. They must submit a bond of Rs 50 lakhs (Rs 15L via solvency/bank guarantee + Rs 35L via undertaking) within 3 months of admission failing which they will be considered absent from their duty.
